When you think of health what comes to mind? Do you think of a trip to the doctor, or the fact that you dont have any aches and pains today? Have you ever considered what true wellness really means, and how you might achieve it?
On this site we will interactively explore what the tru meaning of Wellness really is. Please share your experiences with such things as Yoga, Tai-Chi, Biofeedback, Meditation, and any other relaxation techniques you might have experence with.
Feel free to share any idea's you have regarding healthy living. These can be in any of the area's of health; physical, mental, spiritual, or emotional. By sharing we can learn from one another and help each other reach optimal health.

Using yoga to explore the true meaning of wellness; for me yoga is a mental, physical, and spiritual experience that can be experienced at all times. Mentally I empty my mind of all thoughts, and focus on all the subtle movements that are occurring in my body; my rate of breathing, alignment and balance of the muscles and joints, and freedom in movements. By intentionally focusing on synchronizing my thoughts with the breath and the movements I enter a state of oneness and wholeness. The meditation prayer I use at the end of a practice session is, “May we be filled with living kindness, may we be well, may we be peaceful and at ease, may we be happy”.
